Preschool Activities

I found these pictures of different preschool activities the boys did this spring.  I must say one of my favorite "toys" is a large cardboard box- endless possibilities!

We used this box to make a race track.  The boys colored it in and made a city, farm, and other landmarks to add to their track it took a day to make and was their source of entertainment for days! After that we cut it up to make a little house.  After that we cut it into shields and swords- endless!

I feel like I might have posted this picture earlier, but oh well. The boys practiced hammering with a real hammer and nails.  The also played around with their toy tools designing a "house".

Letter Dig!

Leo actually loves doing workbooks.  This is his math book form Catholic Heritage Curricula.

First Max traced the alphabet on his worksheet, then did a letter dig.  As he found each letter he placed it on the worksheet.

This was a game for Ace, but the other boys loved it too.  Its pretty simple, just find the object that matches the outline and match it up in the square.  I kept the squares to play the game again, but finding all the right toys in our massive toy room is a bit challenging!

A little painting.  I think they could take some classes from Aunt Megan.

Trucks, rocks, rice, and letters.  A little messy, but lots of fun.

Not Giving Up! And Big Announcements!

I almost logged on to write my "I don't have time for this" final post, but after reading a few old post I decided to keep going.  Lets break down all the changes since March...

1. Tyler finished Graduate School.
2. Leo finished his first year of preschool.
3. Leo and Max are signed up for preschool next year.
4. I had an amazingly relaxing Mothers Day at a hotel by myself.
5. I volunteered, and Max and Leo attended VBS for the preschool.
6. Tyler did a lot of interviews.
7. We found out we are having another baby in February!!!
8. Rucify had surgery and was shaved to look like a lion.
9. Tyler got a new job as a Middle School Assistant Principal.
10. Rex and Ace continue to be the most adorable toddler-baby duo of all time.
11. I resigned from St. Joan of Arc and will be staying home full time.
12. We went to the zoo at least 4 times.
13. Oh, and we had a great Easter!

So, yeah, not much happening around here.

Family dinner at the Olive Garden!

Our kitty-lion after her surgery.

Swimming at the Y.  We have been to Uncle Tim's house a bunch too.

After my night of sleep in the hotel the boys came over to watch TV and swim before check-out.  It was a GREAT mothers day.

Leo and Ace had very low key birthdays.  Just a few family members came over and they each picked out a cake.  They both got a crazy amount of Nerf guns.  Ace was happy about his new Umi-Zoomi DVD and Leo was excited about his Power Rangers video game.

After Ace's doctors appointment at the ENT, I took him to dinner and to play in the fountains.  He had a great time!

Easter 2014!
