Leo is 3!

June 21st, 2012
On his 3rd birthday Leo had his first dentist appointment.  He did really well for the first half of the appointment. He decided he was finished before the Doctor was ready, so I had to hold him in my lap the second half.  After it was over, they showered him with gifts!  He thought that was really cool and kept telling them all about it.  They loved it and even took his picture to put on their wall for the patient of the week.  After that Leo and I went shopping to pick out an Umizoomi movie (he ended up getting 3) and then the two of us had lunch.  It was a great birthday afternoon!  We are having cake and ice cream on Sunday with some family and he is really excited for his party.  :)

Aunt Megan come over to help entertain Leo for awhile.  The kids had lunch and went to the Easton Fountains.  Leo had a great time!  A few days later all the aunts visited to help take care of the boys while I rested.  It was great, I didn't have to move all day!  The boys had fun playing with their aunts and cousins.

Visitors At The Hospital

The whole Fathbruckner family came to visit Ace at the hospital.  I didn't get any pictures of Tim and Beth with Ace, which was silly considering they are his Godparents! Later that week everyone came over again to help watch the older boys while I rested.  More pictures of that to come...

Max's First Haircut

While waiting for baby Ace to come we got a few things done, including haircuts.  Max did pretty good for his first haircut by Grandma.

Welcome Ace Thomas Winner!

After being scheduled for an induction at 9:00am on Thursday June 7th, then being delayed because the hospital was full, we finally got the call to come into the hospital at 9:45pm!  I guess all of the waiting was a good thing because when we got there, I was already dilated 3cm and completely effaced.  The induction went fast and the epidural worked!  It was such an easy delivery.  Ace Thomas finally arrived at 3:14am. He was 8 lbs- 8ounces and 21 inches long.  He was perfectly healthy and adorable!

Leo and I were getting out of the car and I told him to hurry because "Mommy had to use the potty". Leo told me, "Oh mom, you can just go behind a tree or something".  Ha!

It is Thursday, June 7th and the baby is still not here.  We are going to be induced sometime today, but we have to wait for a room to open at the hospital.  Luckily both Grandmas have been here to help and keep me from going crazy.  Just more waiting...
