Leo's First Swim Class
We joined the YMCA this year and the first thing I did was sign Leo up for swim lessons. He was really excited because he loves the Y and he loves water. When we got there he wanted to jump in right away. He did such a great job! The only problem... he cried when we made him get out of the water to go home. Look out Michael Phelps!

Visitors for Max
After being at the hospital the enter time we were in labor, Grandma Mike was a little tired.
Max had a lot of visitors, I was not very good about taking pictures of everyone, but we had all the Grandparents, Aunt Amy and Aunt Lori, Becca and Anna, Aunt Jena, Michael, Brooke, Natalie, and Uncle Troy and Emily Anne.

The Arrival of Baby Max!
We went to the hospital on Friday, March 18th to be induced to have Max. It was a long labor, lasting 14 hours because Max was turned the wrong way. It was not only long, but also hard because my epidural stopped working right when we needed to push. I pushed the "natural" way for two hours before they even realized that the epidural was even out of my back. We took a 30 minute break from pushing, got some pain medicine (not an epidural), and begin pushing again. I was afraid of using the vacuum or the forceps to help pull him out. I was determined to do it myself, and I did. It was a natural labor, and it was worth it! Max was born 30 minutes later, at 5:34am on March 19th. Tyler and I both couldn't believe how much he looked like Leo. He was also so calm! We love our little blonde boy :-)

Halloween 2010
Halloween 2010:
Leo was my little helper setting up for Halloween this year. He carried those pumpkins around and helped me pick-up sticks in the yard. Leo was a pirate for Halloween, but it ended up being so cold that he didn’t even do any trick-or-treating. He did sit on the porch with Dad for awhile and passed out candy. Of course, mister social thought it was the coolest thing ever to have random people just come up to his house and say hi.
