Walking Away A Winner

I know this is out of order, this was March 29th 2010. I just found this video of Leo trying out his walker for the first time and thought it was cute. :-)

First Hair Cut!

Leo had his first hair cut on June 19th. He did a great job. He didn't cry or wiggle at all. It might help that Grandma is the one who cuts his hair!

The Zoo

One of our many trips to the Columbus Zoo in the spring/summer of 2010.

Leo's First Steps

Leo started walking at 11 months...his motivation was to get the cat!

Crazy Head

I don't know why he would do this...but Leo loved to shake his head like a crazy person. He also loved to shake furniture. Tyler says he is testing the furnitures durability.

Reading At Bedtime :-)

Naked, baseball bat, lion, and chair.....all of Leo's favorite things in the spring of 2010. We eventually had to take the baseball bat away and hide it because he kept hitting everything with it. Once we started getting dents in the walls....it was all over. The bat is still hiding.

This is what happens when they can move on their own...

I turned by back for a second...entire roll of toilet paper destroyed.

Easter 2010 :-)
Leo didn't really wear the hat, but it looked cute. He did participate in the egg hunt. Grandpa Winner walked him around hand help him pick up his Easter eggs.
Leo was crawling by February. It took him awhile to figure it out, but when he did he was such a happy baby! He finally could move around and do the stuff he wanted to do. :-)

Leo and Mommy having a day at the park. It was such a nice day! We went to the park and fed the ducks. I would put the bread on Leo's shoes and the ducks would come up to him and eat it right off of his foot. He thought it was the coolest thing ever.

Duck, Duck.

Leo loves his towel, duck-duck. Every time he has a bath he runs to his room to get him. Its so cute. :-)

Splash, Splash!

Leo having a good time playing with the water. :-)

Grandma Winner and I took Leo to see Santa at the Greenville coffee shop. It was so nice because there was no line and it was free. Leo loved it. He was not afraid of Santa at all.

Leo's first Christmas was great. Everyone wanted to hold him...especially all the Grandma's and Grandpa's. Great Grandpa Fathbruckner was so impressed with how "hardy" Leo was.

Thanksgiving! Tyler, Leo, and I made Thanksgiving dinner at our house. We had ham, mashed potatos, and tons of other stuff! Its a great new family tradition.

Leo was a lion for his first Halloween. He didn't really get into it at all, but daddy and I had fun sitting with him on the porch and passing out candy. Tyler was a cowboy and I was a country girl.

The boys hanging out in their white-tee's.
I LOVED this Gap hat and jacket!

Leo's first time eating solid food. Well, it was just rice and milk mixed together but it was his first "food". Leo started the switch to bottles, rice, and baby food at around 4 months. He was a BIG eater and his favorites were peas and sweet potatos.

Leo was always to busy playing to sleep.

Leo Playing Games

Leo playing on the floor and with his favorite toy. He got this mirror from Aunt Megan and he loved playing with it! Leo was 2 months old in these pics.

Playing peek-a-boo with his favorite blanket and lion.

Leo really wanted to stand and crawl from day one. Since he didn't have the motor skills yet, he used the bobby pillow to help him practice. He had so much personality even as a little guy! He knew what he wanted to do....and he was going to do it!
Leo has NEVER liked to sleep alone. In fact, he has never liked to sleep much at all.

Leo with his Leon the Lion at 1 month. I found this lion before Leo was even born and loved it. It has become Leo's favorite stuffed animal and he takes it with him everywhere. So cute!

Leo's Three Week Pictures

Pictures of Leo at three weeks old.

Tyler and I were extremely happy to have a healthy baby boy. Leo Michael Winner was born on June 21, 2009 at 12:59 am. He was 8 lbs 7 oz and 22 inches.
When Leo was born he yelled so loud that I couldn't believe it. The nurses laughed and said that he was the loudest baby they have ever heard. Tyler, lovingly of course, says he has never stopped yelling.
Well, I have finally decided to start my own blog. The purpose of this blog is not to inform the world on my everyday life, but for my family and I to remember the exciting years of raising our little Winners. I am going to do some backtracking because Leo is already 19 months old and baby number two will be here in three short weeks. As one could guess, a lot has already happened since I first created this page. So, here we go...
